In addition to volunteer opportunities throughout the year, Encore Electric provides contributions to support local charitable organizations. “We can influence our community in a positive way with all of the hands available to help.”Įncore Gives! Day is only one way that the men and women of the organization give back to the community. “Doing business locally for about 30 years in Colorado and Colorado Springs makes you realize that it is great to work for a company that likes to give back,” said Michael Ferguson, Colorado Springs account manager, during last year’s event. Volunteers will be doing a wide variety of activities at these locations, including using their electrical skills to install lights and switches, painting, maintenance, yardwork in an organic garden and at a camp, cleaning up rivers and other bodies of water, as well as organizing and handing out food. Some of these organizations have been partners of Encore Electric before, and the new partner groups feature exciting new opportunities for Encore Electric teammates to make community connections and give back. More than 70 Encore Electric teammates are expected to give their talents, time, and energy at these locations. This year, Encore Electric is partnering with organizations including the Tennyson Center for Children in Denver Colorado Youth Outdoors in Fort Collins, Colorado Jovial Concepts Organic Garden in Denver Care and Share Food Bank in Colorado Springs St James Episcopal Church Food Bank in Midvale, Utah Eagle River Clean Up in Eagle County, Colorado and the Gallatin River Clean Up in Bozeman, Montana.
